Perming:
Curled eyelashes will enhance the appearance of the eyes, giving you an ‘open-eyed’ look, and will normally last between 4-5 weeks. This is a semi-permanent treatment for curling your eyelashes.
During treatment, the eyelashes are curled around a small rod and secured in place with water-soluble glue. The perming lotion is then applied to the lashes and left to process, followed by an application of a neutralizer. This is then left to be absorbed with the eyes covered. Damp cotton is used to gently remove the lotion.
A conditioner is then applied before removing the rod, leaving you with beautifully curled eyelashes and a ‘wide-awake’ look. (You can throw out those painful eyelash curling devices that often pull your lashes out!)
Tinting:
Tinting not only enhances the color of your lashes but helps to make them look darker and longer. Light lashes can be transformed and this means no light roots when used in conjunction with mascara. Many women have their lashes tinted before going on holiday so that they can be mascara free.
Before we tint your lashes, we remove all traces of make-up from your eyes and secure in place protective pads using petroleum jelly to protect the delicate skin area beneath your eyes.
The tint is applied to your lashes and left for the color to develop. Your eyes should remain closed during this process. Once the lashes are the desired color, the tint is gently wiped away and any remaining mixture is cleansed to reveal beautiful looking lashes.
The process is not painful and usually takes 15 – 20 minutes. The treatment can be repeated every 4 to 6 weeks as required.
